Lion's Head Hike

Fresh out of level 3 COVID restrictions, it was safe to say that everyone was itching to get back outside and do some good ol' fashioned hiking. And what better way to break quarantine than an afternoon hike up Lion's Head?

As our troop had grown significantly at the beginning of 2021, there were a lot of junior scouts on this particular hike, and we took them up a more adventurous route than the standard ring track. For many this was their first ascent of Lion's Head and they all took it in stride. After a short break on top to admire the Mother City, we took a brisk walk back down. A fantastic first activity to welcome the new year and fun was had by all!
